Oklahoma to Tuscaloosa!!!

N113SL…

This plane is scheduled to leave Tulsa, OK at 12:45 CST and arrive in Tuscaloosa at 2:10 CST time. This plane is moving today! Oklahoma to Tuscaloosa…today!

This aircraft has never been to Tuscaloosa before! The records go back to August...no Tuscaloosa.

This plane is registered to “Avantair Air.” It is very similar to “Net Jets.” From the website, it says that Avantair “offers private travel solutions for individuals.”

Could this be Bob Stoops?!?!?

MAJOR UPDATE!!!!!!!!

All Times are EASTERN…All flights happening TODAY!

N560RM (OU)

Norman (11:32) ---- Wichita (12:08)

ASQ146 (Atlantic Southeast Airlines)

Wichita (12:41) ---- Atlanta (2:20)

EJA967 (the “Net Jets” plane)

Miami (11:47) ---- Palm Beach (12:07 to 1:18) ---- Atlanta (2:36)

N85PK (Wachovia) – Since August 10, only time plane has been in Atlanta

Nashville (11:05) ---- Atlanta (11:43 to 2:46) ---- Nashville (3:23)

JCM44 (Secure Air Charter)

Has been sitting in Nashville since December 2. Prior to this it flew from Tuscaloosa to Teterboro on Nov. 28. It stayed in Teterboro…went back to T-Town on December 2. From there it flew to Nashville the same day, and hasn’t moved yet!

-----

Is it possible that Bob Stoops left OU and went to Wichita on N560RM…this plane has been involved all week folks.

Did he then take a flight from Wichita to Atlanta to meet the “Net Jets” plane. Remember…”Net Jets” and N560RM were connected in Vegas!!

Did the passengers on the “Nets Jets” plane arrive and board a plane registered to Wachovia Financial?? Wachovia is a BIG sponser of Alabama football!

Is 16 minutes enough time for Bob Stoops to change planes in Atlanta?!?

Are they about to board JCM44 in Nasvhille and head to T-Town?!?

All of the times overlap. They overlap just enough for people to change planes!

I don’t know…but if JCM44 leaves Nashville soon for B’ham or Tuscaloosa…I’m going to be very excited!!

Teterboro to Tuscaloosa!

N300TW....

This plane has a lot of activity with Montgomery, so I assume that's where it's hanger is. On December 3 it left Alabama, and today it is returning.

Flight History ... Montgomery ---- Teterboro ---- Tuscaloosa ---- Montgomery.

Could this be Moore and Whitt, or other officials from UA?

http://flightaware.com/live/flight/N300TW

Thanks to "Cool Hand Mike" for the tip.

Planes Converging on B'ham?!?!?

All times EASTERN...

JCT815....

Tuscaloosa ---- Teterboro ---- Tuscaloosa on November 6...the Miss. St. loss was November 4. As far as I can tell, this plane has had no other flights involving T-Town or B'ham. It is scheduled to leave Teterboro at 2:30 for B'ham, arriving at 4:45. This is a "Jet Charter" flight. Could it have people from last night's banquet on board?

http://flightaware.com/live/flight/JCT815

N399CW....

This plane is scheduled to arrive in B'ham from Stuttgart, AR at 2:03 PM. Since August, the plane was in Stuttgart only one other time November 24-26. Could this flight be connected to Paul Bryant Jr. somehow?

http://flightaware.com/live/flight/N399CW

TN515FX....

On November 26 this plane arrived at Teterboro from San Francisco. It has not left Teterboro yet. However, at 3:55 it is scheduled to arrive in B'ham. This plane seems to have never flown to B'ham before! Could it be involved with people who attended last night's banquet??

http://flightaware.com/live/flight/TN515FX

EJA967 ("Net Jets")....

This plane is now en route to Atlanta. From there it is scheduled to Louisville. What is happening with this aircraft? Was it ever involved in the UA coaching search? If so...is it now flying to Atlanta and Louisville to pick up some new assistant coaches? Did the people involved with the search stop using this plane after it arrived in Miami? Who knows...but I'll definitely find out where it goes next!

Flight History ... Seattle --- Las Vegas (leaves just after a plane from OU arrived, next day OU plane goes to Teterboro) ---- Tuscaloosa ---- Atlanta ---- Teterboro ---- Miami ---- Palm Beach ---- Atlanta (en route right now) ---- Louisville (scheduled)

http://flightaware.com/live/flight/EJA967

N143DM....

Yesterday...this plane flew from B'ham to Palm Beach. Also yesterday, the "Net Jets" plane went to Miami. Miami and Palm Beach are only 70 miles away from each other. At 1:09 today...this aircraft returned to B'ham! Could it be that those passengers on the "Net Jets" plane flew from Teterboro to Miami...then stayed the night and drove to Palm Beach to get on N14DM which is now in B'ham??

http://flightaware.com/live/flight/N143DM

I don't know what's happening people...but we have planes from Teterboro, Miami, and Stuttgart converging on B'ham! Is there a plane with Moore, Whitt, and Stoops flying back from Teterboro and last night's banquet?!? Are UA officials and future Bama DC, Randy Shannon, on a plane to B'ham from Miami?!? Are members of the Bryant family coming to B'ham from Stuttgart?!?

EJA967

Well, now this plane is scheduled to leave Atlanta for Louisville, Kentucky.

Remember...this is a "Net Jets" plane. It is a plane that is basically leased out, similar to renting a car. It's possible that if people affiliated with UA was using this plane, they may be done with it. They may be getting off at one of the cities this morning and are going to take a different plane to Tuscaloosa or another location. OR They could have used it to go to Teterboro, and switched to another plane in Teterboro.

One thing is for sure...lots of "college" towns associated with this plane in the last few days.

Morning Update....

N321GG …. Headed back to Columbia after 3 days at Teterboro, it is in the air right now.

Columbia ---- Teterboro

-------

EJA967 … This flight was scheduled to leave Miami this morning at 10:36 AM and head to Palm Beach, then Atlanta. However…it has not left yet, it is 40 minutes late right now.

Scheduled ........ Miami ---- Palm Beach ---- Atlanta

--------

Are these two connected……

EJM7 … This flight sat in Teterboro for 5 days, it was not used during that time.

This morning…it left Teterboro airport and arrived in Miami. It was supposed to arrive at 10:08…however; it didn’t get to Miami until 10:36! This is the same exact time EJA967 was supposed to leave.

Right now, it’s scheduled to return to Teterboro at 11 AM, which was 21 minutes ago. However, it has not left Miami yet.

Could it be that there were some very important people leaving NYC this morning after the banquet last night? Where they going to Miami to join the other passengers on EJA967? Is that why EJA967 is late???

Teterboro ----- Maimi ----- Teterboro

----------

EJA919 … On December 1 this plane arrived in Wichita; it stayed there for 3 days without moving.

Yesterday, it left Wichita for Augusta, GA…home of Augusta National…where a certain Ol’ Ball Coach is rumored to play golf. From Augusta it flew to NYC…eventually landing at Teterboro airport! This morning at 8:11…it flew to Miami. It is scheduled to leave Miami at 11:18 for Palm Beach! From there it is scheduled to go back to NYC area.

Wichita ----- Augusta ----- Teterboro ----- Miami ---- Palm Beach ---- NYC area

--------

Remember…EJA stands for “Net Jets,” which is basically a company that “rents” aircraft. Seems like a good way for coaches and ADs to fly around without having to use a university’s aircraft.

So…what’s in Palm Beach? Are these flights connected? I don’t know. If they are connected…maybe there’s a good restaurant in Palm Beach and they don’t feel like driving there to get lunch, haha.

As always…”Hire Bob Stoops” will keep a watch out.

Could it be??????

Alright folks...this is just a theory. However...if it comes true...wow!

If you just now discovered this page, or need a memory refreshing...see the entry "Simplified Version of Today's Events" to better understand.

Plane C.........

Earlier today, it was scheduled to leave Teterboro at 1 PM. Remember...this aircract met Plane B in Vegas from Norman, Plane B went from Vegas to T-Town. Let's assume someone from Norman got off of C and got on B, then took that plane to T-Town ---- Atlanta ---- NYC.

Plane B........

This plane landed at Teterboro today at....that's right...exactly 1 PM. It is now scheduled to go to Miami this afternoon.

Plane C is in the air right now...but...it left NYC 37 minutes late. At 1:37, it left for Norman.

What if.......

Someone from Norman got off of Plane C and on Plane B in Vegas. They were going back to Norman today, but had to wait for Place B to arrive in NYC. That's why Plane C was 37 minutes late from it's scheduled departure for Norman.

Then...Plane B heads to Miami. Remember, this Plane went Seattle ---- Vegas ---- Tuscaloosa ---- Atlanta ---- NYC ---- and now, Miami.

What if there are some very important people on Plane B right now! What if representatives from Tuscaloosa are on the plane with Stoops and Spurrier Jr., and they are now on their way to pick up our new DC...Randy Shannon. What a team that would be!!

I tell you what...I don't know if it's true, but that would be awesome if it is.

Thanks to BamaBird on the tip about Shannon!

Activity with Bryant Jr.

Since Thanksgiving...Bryant Jr's plane has only been to two places. Stuttgart, Arkansas...where I believe he has family...and Austin, TX.

Remember...his plane was in Austin overnight when another plane from Tucson, AZ (home of Mike Stoops) was in Austin. The plane from Tucson then went straight to Norman, OK...Bryant's plane went back to T-Town.

On December 3...Bryant's plane went back to Stuttgart and stayed for 19 minutes. That's basically only enough time to drop someone off.

Today...right now...Bryant's plane is about to land in Stuttgart. It is scheduled to stay for only 20 minutes!

Does that mean Paul Bryant Jr. was in Stuttgart all day yesterday, and now has to return for Tuscaloosa. Maybe he needs to be in T-Town for a potential press conference?

One thing I know for sure...there is a lot of activity today!

Link...

http://flightaware.com/live/flight/N323P

Simplied version of today's events...

Two days ago...

Plane A....Columbia ---- Teterboro ---- Atlanta ---- Columbia.

Yesterday...

Plane B....Seattle ---- Las Vegas ---- Tuscaloosa ---- Atlanta

Plane C....Norman ---- Las Vegas ---- Norman

Moments after Plane C landed in Las Vegas...Plane B took off from Las Vegas for Tuscaloosa! Then went to Atlanta.

Today....morning….

Plane B....Altanta ---- Teterboro

Plane C....Norman ---- Teterboro

Today….afternoon…

Plane B…Teterboro ---- Miami

Place C….Teterboro ---- Norman

So…what’s in Miami? I don’t know. Does it have to do with the report that Stoops is showing interest in UM? Does somebody from Bama need to talk with UM officials? Are there potential assistant coaches in Miami? OR…Are none of these flights connected in any way?

I think we’ll find out soon. Whether it’s Stoops, RR, or somebody else…I have a feeling Bama will have a coach in hours or days…not weeks.

Breaking News! Planes from OU, Columbia, and Tuscaloosa will all be in Teterboro very shortly!

Alright here’s the story…

1) N560RM – This plane is en route to Teterboro. It left Norman (OU airport) at 8:22 AM and will arrive in Teterboro 11:16 AM. It is in the air right now!

This plane is very connected with others that have seen action in T-Town. Yesterday, it landed in Las Vegas, just before “Net Jets” plane NJA967 took off from Vegas for Tuscaloosa! Also…N560RM….has had previous flights this week to Teterboro while planes from Tuscaloosa and Columbia were there.

2) NJA967 – The plane that is connected with N560RM through Las Vegas is scheduled to leave Dekalb Peachtree airport in Atlanta at 11:00 AM. It will arrive in Teterboro at 12:19 PM.

3) N32GG – This plane flew from Columbia to Teterboro on Dec. 3 and is still there. This plane has a very interesting history.

Please scroll down the page to view the entire flight path history of planes that have very strong links between Norman-Tuscaloosa-Columbia-Teterboro.

Will Bob Stoops, or anyone else for that matter, be hired soon??? Could the Bob Stoops/Spurrier Jr. theory be correct??? I have no idea…but things are heating up again today!

Is he ready to leave Norman?!?

Here's an interesting little piece that deals with Bob Stoops. It says...

"Sources tell us that Stoops now thinks he will not get the Arizona Cardinals job since it looks like that gig will eventually go to USC coach Pete Carroll. That fact, coupled with what appears looming NCAA sanctions against the Oklahoma program incident to Cargate -- and the fact that Mrs Stoops is getting tired of having tumbleweed and steers running across her lawn in Norman -- have led to Stoops having interest in the Hurricanes' head job."

I have no clue if it's credible...but it looks like there may be rumblings of discontent folks.

Thanks to "nickiel1" from the TideSports.com forum for the link!

Interesting Interview with Steve Spurrier Jr.

Here's an article from a couple of years ago. It's an interview with Steve Spurrier Jr. As we know, he is currently on the staff with his father at South Carolina. However, my theory is he wants out of there...he wants to establish himself on his own. How can he do that?? We'll an OC job at Bama under Bob Stoops would be a great way to start!

When asked...
"Do you want to coach with your dad again?"
Spurrier Jr. responded...
"Not necessarily. Sometimes you get stuck with the impression that he’s the only guy you can coach for. Honestly, I’d like to avoid that. The years that I’ve coached with him have been great. I’ve learned a lot from him. I enjoy working for him. I enjoy coaching with him. Professionally I think it’s better if I don’t coach with him."

N1UA is on the move!

This may not mean anything, but N1UA (Crimson Tide Foundation plane) is on the move right now. It is en route to Mobile. As of now, there is nothing else scheduled. This activity probably has nothing to do with the coaching search....or maybe they are wanting to pick up someone so they can be at a press conference. Doesn't Stabler live in the Mobile area?

It's just a thought...nothing is known for sure, but "Hire Bob Stoops" will keep a watch out.

EJA967 - Back to Teterboro!

Last night this plane was schedule to fly to Teterboro. However, something happened and it didn't make it. Today, however, it is back on schedule! At 11:00 AM EST it is schedule to leave Atlanta and fly to Teterboro airport.

Remember this planes interesting history....Seattle --- Las Vegas (left here moments after a plane from Norman landed in Vegas) ---- Tuscaloosa ---- Atlanta (a plane with the flight path Columbia/Teterboro/Atlanta/Columbia was there the day before) ---- Teterboro!

The flight that left Atlanta for Teterboro last night, EJA627, is now schedule to Vermont...so it looks like that one is unrelated to all the activity between Norman, Tuscaloosa, Columbia, and Teterboro.

So...going to keep an eye out on this plane's (EJA967) activity.

Did Something Happen in Atlanta???

There's been a small development with "Net Jets" flight - EJA967. This is the plane that went from...Seattle----Las Vegas----Tuscaloosa----Atlanta----New York (scheduled). It seems the flight from Atlanta to NYC was cancelled. Earlier in the day, it was scheduled for NYC. Now, remember...this is the flight that left Las Vegas moments after a plane from Norman, OK landed in Las Vegas. If you look at the map of the flight, it seems like it may have begun flying a little erratically over the state of Georgia. Could there have been a mechanical problem?

Maybe...something interesting happened next.

The above "Net Jets" flight landed Dekalb-Peachtree airport in Atlanta at 7:17 PM.

However...at 9:40 PM, another "Net Jets" flight left Dekalb-Peachtree for Teterboro airport in NYC. This was the only flight from Dekalb-Peachtree to Teterboro this evening!

So...it seems likely that something may have caused a problem on the initial plane that was schedule to NYC and this plane took it's place. Remember, both are "Net Jets" aircraft...and neither of them seem to make regular stops at Dekalb-Peachtree.

MAJOR DEVELOPMENT!!!

We got more plane activity folks, and this finding may blow your socks off!

This activity is happening right now! Planes are in the air…connections to Tuscaloosa, Norman, Columbia, and New York City!!!

All times eastern…

Yesterday, December 3…N803SC, the plane that went from Columbia to Teterboro yesterday, had another destination. From Teterboro, the plane first went to Dekalb Peachtree airport in Atlanta. It stayed on the ground for 20 minutes (unloading important passengers?!?)…then returned to Columbia. Why is this important??? Keep Reading!!

At 11:36 AM, N560RM…this is the same plane that went to Teterboro yesterday and came back…this plane left Norman, OK (the OU airport) and arrived at 2:15 at McCarren Int’l airport in Nevada. It is now scheduled to return to OU.

Get ready folks…

EJA967 is a “Net Jets” aircraft. “Net Jets” is a company that charters private planes. On December 3, this plane left Seattle, WA and landed at McCarren Int’l. The plane stayed there overnight. At 2:16, just after the plane from Norman arrived in Nevada, this plane left for…TUSCALOOSA, AL!! The plane is right now landing at Dekalb Peachtree airport in Atlanta for a 1:10 stop (that’s enough time to leave a hotel and make it to the airport, isn’t it?). At 8:30 PM EST, the plane is scheduled for Westchester County Airport in NEW YORK CITY!

So here we go…we have a plane arriving in Atlanta on December 3, dropping somebody off maybe?? We have a “Net Jet” plane leaving Nevada just after a plane from Norman arrived at that airport! Then, that same “Net Jet” plane goes to Tuscaloosa, then Atlanta, then New York City!

The NFF Award Ceremony, Mal Moore, plans from Norman, Tuscaloosa, Columbia…connecting in New York City!!

Are you starting to believe people?!?

New Update…another Columbia/Teterboro connection.

Alright. it looks like the plane N321GG has an interesting history.

On November 30, the plane left Columbia, SC at 4:59 PM. However, the arrival is listed as “result unknown.” Looks like the plane may have had a problem and had to return to Columbia, but it’s destination was Teterboro, NJ. Remember…at that same time there were two planes from Tuscaloosa at Teterboro.

The next day, N308SC left Columbia and went to Teterboro…maybe whoever was on N321GG got on this plane while the other one was being serviced. I am not saying that is what happened; I’m just saying it’s possible.

Well…guess what…yesterday, December 3, the first plane, N321GG, left Columbia at 12:32 PM. It’s destination you ask?? Teterboro, NJ! This plane has not left Teterboro yet. It seems like a lot of strange connections to me.

So…could it be possible that Spurrier Jr. is now at the NFF Award Ceremony with Mal Moore and Bob Stoops???

The Case for Why Bob Stoops could be hired!

Why Bob Stoops?

Well, basically he is THE coach of the decade. His record is now an amazing 86-18, with two of those wins over the Tide. He’s won the Big 12 championship four times and is in only his eighth year at Oklahoma. The four Big 12 championships he has won at OU are the most of any team. He won the 2000 National Championship and received all the “Coach of the Year” awards that year. Basically…he is awesome. OU is lucky to have him, and, no offense Sooner fans, I hope the Crimson Tide will be lucky soon too.

Why would Coach Stoops leave OU?

That’s a great question. He’s basically got it made there, admiration by the fans and a record that solidifies his place in history. However, he’s young. Stoops is only 46 and maybe he wants another challenge. He was the defensive coordinator for the Ol’ Ball Coach at Florida, whose connections we’ll discuss later. Maybe he wants back in the SEC. Maybe he wants to be a legend at two of the legendary programs of the nation. However, this is all just conjecture on my part. Are there any facts that would make him want to leave?

Yes. NCAA trouble, that’s what. As most everyone knows, OU had a rocky start to the season. Players Rhett Bomar and J.D. Quinn were dismissed from the team prior to the start of the 2006 season. Coach Stoops said the players were dismissed for “knowing(ly)” breaking NCAA rules. The NCAA began an investigation, which they hoped would be wrapped up by November 1. The problem arose from Bomar and Quinn receiving “‘extra compensation above that to which they were entitled related to their employment at a private business,’ and a subsequent report to the NCAA identified that business as Norman car dealership Big Red Sports and Imports.” Also, a total of 17 other OU football players worked at the dealership between 2003-2005. Furthermore, during the same time the NCAA accepted self-imposed sanctions by the OU basketball team. The coach, Kelvin Samson, was cited for a deliberate “disregarded NCAA rules." The NCAA has already ruled and given out punishment to Bomar and Quinn, but there seems to be more to this problem than just those two players, and OU may take the hit…a big hit. This smells like really bad news for OU. Bama fans…remember what “repeat offender” means???

The good thing is, Coach Stoops prides himself on running a clean program. He would never tolerate a university that did not take swift and strong action when problems arose, and if the boosters are out of control, he may just leave.

http://www.sportsline.com/collegefootball/story/9726412 - this link details the potential problems for the OU program

Spurrier’s role…

As we all know, most people, including myself, thought that last week Steve Spurrier was going to be named Alabama’s next coach. Well, that looks almost impossible now with his extension offer from South Carolina. However, would the Ol’ Ball Coach help out his good friend, Stoops, get out of a sticky situation in Oklahoma? Would he actually help bring in one of the best coaches in the country to a rival SEC school? The answer is a resounding YES…to help out Jr.!

Assuming Bob Stoops is the man Alabama is going after, and he accepts…well, he’ll need an offensive coordinator. So the story goes Bob served on Spurrier’s staff at Florida, and helped win the National Championship in 1996. Obviously, they formed a friendship, and Spurrier was thankful for Coach Stoops’ help. Now, it’s time to help Stoops out, and get something in return.

Both Bob Stoops and Steve Spurrier Jr. were on the staff at Florida during the 1996 championship year. Once Coach Stoops went to OU, Jr. followed. He served for three years on the OU staff and was part of the 2000 National Championship team. Before coaching at South Carolina with his father, Spurrier Jr. was on Mike Stoops’ staff at Arizona. Obviously the connections between the Spurriers and the Stoops brothers run deep.

So my theory is…Spurrier has been milking the Alabama job, making everyone believe he may take it. Therefore, all the attention was on him. While in reality, he was working behind the scenes to get Alabama what they want (a top-tier, proven winner coach), what Bob Stoops potentially wants (an out from OU with possible problems ahead), and what he wants (an offensive coordinator job for his son, the stepping stone for Spurrier Jr. to get a high profile head coaching job).

The planes tell the story…

Here is where things get really, really interesting folks. What I am about to present is a timeline of FACTS…a timeline of air activity that shows too many connections between Tuscaloosa, Norman, and Columbia. All the times given are EASTERN Standard Time. If this is coincidence…well…

Monday, November 27 2006

At 12:43 AM, flight N137WR arrived in Tucson, AZ from Kansas City, MO (where the Big XII Championship game is played). Tucson is the location of the University of Arizona, the same place where Mike Stoops, Bob’s brother, is the head coach.

At 3:10 PM this plane arrives from Tucson in Austin, TX. Earlier, at 11:12 AM, N323P (Paul “Bear” Bryant, Jr.’s plane) arrived in Austin, TX. BOTH PLANES STAYED OVERNIGHT IN AUSTIN!

Tuesday, November 28 2006

At 5:10 PM, Bryant Jr.’s plane flies back to Tuscaloosa, AL. However, earlier that morning, N137WR left Austin, TX and arrived in NORMAN, OK at 10:31 AM. Isn’t that strange??? A plane goes to Tucson, home of the Univ. of Arizona…from there flies to Austin, TX while Paul Bryant Jr.’s plane is also in Austin…both planes stayed there overnight. Then N137WR flies straight to Norman, home of OU! At 10:54 AM, the plane left Norman and went back to Kansas City, where it originated. So, it stayed only 23 minutes in Norman…but that’s plenty of time to drop off a copy of some paperwork.

At 8:03 AM, a “Secure Air” charter plane, JCM44, left Washington Dulles Int’l and arrives in Tuscaloosa, AL. At 11:48, the plane left Tuscaloosa and arrived at Teterboro, NJ at 1:37 PM. This plane stayed in Teterboro until December 2nd.

At 8:25 AM, flight N46E left Dallas, TX and arrived in Tuscaloosa, AL at 9:39. At 10:06 AM, this plane left Tuscaloosa for Teterboro, NJ and stayed until the next day (then it returned to Tuscaloosa before going back to Dallas). Don’t get me wrong; I’m not saying that Bob Stoops is on any of these flights. However, could a potential member of the coaching staff live in Dallas…maybe a former Bama QB? Sure he could.

At 10:41 AM, N200HD left Tuscaloosa, AL and arrived at, you guessed it…Teterboro, NJ at 1:27. This plane stayed in Teterboro until December 2nd.

Hold on to your hats folks…remember N137WR, the plane that met Bryant Jr.’s in Austin, then went to Norman? Well, at 1:01 PM the plane left Kansas City and at 3:25 arrived in TETERBORO, NJ!!!

So, on November 28th and 29th, we have three planes from Tuscaloosa in Teterboro, then N137WR…the same plane that went to Tucson, the same plane that went to Austin and just happened to stay there overnight when Bryant Jr.’s plane did.

At 5:18 PM…N137WR left Teterboro and flew back to Kansas City. It has not left since. Why didn’t it go back to Tucson? Well, maybe someone was on the plane and wanted to watch his brother coach the Big XII Championship game, and tell him what all happened in Teterboro!

Friday, December 1 2006

Remember, there are two planes in Teterboro that left from Tuscaloosa, they didn’t go back to T-Town until December 2nd.

Well guess what…flight N803SC left Columbia, SC at 8:49 AM and arrived in, no doubt about it, Teterboro, NJ. So…you have planes connected with Tuscaloosa, Norman, and Columbia at the same airport in NJ, at the same time.
What’s in Teterboro (really New York City)? I don’t have a clue. Agents? Lawyers? Consultants? Sure adds up to contracts being made if you ask me. However, we’re not done just yet!

Sunday, December 3 2006

At 2:36 PM, N803SC left Teterboro and returned to Columbia.

Now…it is well known that Mal Moore is in New York City (Teterboro) this day for the December 5th NFF Award Ceremony.

Well…at 9:02 AM a plane, N560RM, left Norman, OK (from the OU airport) and arrived in Teterboro, NJ. The plane then stayed for 59 minutes and returned to Norman. That’s just enough time to drop someone off and refuel.

So…that’s a lot of activity, isn’t it?? What if Bob Stoops arrived for the banquet today…what if Bob Stoops met with Mal Moore while the media is chasing after Spurrier, Saban, and Rodriguez…what if Chuck Nienas has done it again. I’ll tell you what…if Bob Stoops is the next coach…the football world will be shocked!

Other tidbits…

Does the Tuscaloosa News know what’s going on? I would say they would before any of the rest of the media.

On December 2, David Wasson (Executive Sports Editor of the Tuscaloosa News) took part in a thread on the Tuscaloosa News message board. Does he know something and just can’t tell yet???

When asked…
“David, do you think Bob Stoops would be a good fit for Bama if he (slim chance) was the man?”
David replied with…
I think he would be a GREAT fit at Alabama -- if by the slim chance he was the man.”

When asked…
“Please allow me to push a little further into your brain. What about Stoops, in your own opinion, makes him a great fit for Bama?”
David replied with…
Push away. There is PLENTY of room in there.I think Bob Stoops is one of the premier coaches in the country, and he has always seemed to be a guy looking for the next big thing. He hit the jackpot with his first swing at Oklahoma, but the bloom seems to be slightly off that rose. He is young, energetic, and a damn good coach. He is making good coin at OU, but not as good as he could on the open market. There are some guys (Spurrier) who would not be as driven by that knowledge. I think Stoops IS one of those guys.”

When asked…
“David if and when the story breaks, who do you think in Alabama will break it first?”
David replied with…
“What kind of ESE would I be unless I had complete confidence that my guys will break it first? Coaching searches are a different deal than firing a coach, though, as there are a lot more reporters out there from where the eventual new coach is from who can find out from their end. That said, I continue to feel GREAT about our chances. Seeing some of the wrong information being reported by folks in our state this week only strengthens my thought on that.”

David Wasson seems like someone with some information that will be huge, but he can’t break it yet.

Finally…if Bob Stoops were not a possibility, why would Vegas have him on the board?? Now…it seems to me the odd-makers don’t rely on rumor. There’s tons of talk in the media and amongst fans that Nick Saban may be the coach…but is Bob Stoops included on the betting board and not Saban??? Do the bookies know something too?
